Recertification is required to remain active as an IHDA Mortgage Lender. If a recertification is missed, (regardless of the reason) action is required to be re-activated:
If your organization recertified within the last two calendar years... | If your organization has NOT recertified within the last two calendar years... |
Recertification is required. If a recertification package has not been received by March 31st, the lender will be deactivated in TPO Connect and prohibited from originating IHDA Mortgage Programs until a recertification package has been received and approved. Submit a recertification package per the instructions on this page for reactivation. | Re-onboarding is required. The lender will need to re-apply to become an IHDA Mortgage Lender. The lender will be deactivated in TPO Connect and prohibited from originating IHDA Mortgage Programs until the lender application has been received and approved. Visit www.ihdamortgage.org/join for information and instructions. |
Please note, lender onboarding is a lengthier process and requires more information than recertification. If there is even a slight chance you may wish to offer IHDA Mortgage Programs in the future, we strongly recommend you recertify annually, as we are unable to rush the lender onboarding process.
